Where can I get boxes and packing supplies?


At RSS - We have a wide range of packing materials available for purchase, including new and second hand boxes, mattress protectors, bubble wrap, sofa protectors, dining chair covers, tape dispensers, wrapping paper, padlocks, tape and marker pens.




Do you deliver?


YES – We can deliver free of charge to our service area with a minimum purchase of $50. You can also Click & Collect or phone your order through and we will have it ready for you to pick up, and our staff will even give you a hand to your car!

ACCESS

How do I access my unit?


During office hours - the gate and roller shutters are open and all you need is your padlock key or code.

Outside of office hours - you will need to input your access code into the access panel to open and close the gate and roller shutters.




When can I access my unit?


Whenever you need to during our Access Hours - 6am till 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.




Who else will have access to my storage unit?


NO ONE - You are the only one who has access to your storage unit, as you will be the only one with a key to your padlock. We do not hold a key to your storage unit.




Can I authorise other people or family members to access my unit?


YES - you can provide authority for your selected people when you sign your RSS Storage Agreement. All you need to do is complete our authority form with the names of people you would like to access your unit.




Can I have access outside of advertised hours?


NO - As our location is zoned residential, access is only between 6am and 9pm, 7 days.




Can I give my code to others e.g. family or a removalist?


It is recommended you only give your code to the people you have authorised in writing to access your unit.




What if I forget my gate access code?


NO PROBLEM - We can remind you of your code, but for security reasons, you will need to come into the office with photo identification.





COST

How much does storage space cost


The cost of self-storage space depends on the size of space you require. We have many different sizes of storage units ranging from 1 to 70 square metres. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss your requirements.




Are there any extra charges?


NO - There are no extra charges or hidden fees. However, your insurance premium will be added to your monthly storage fees if you decide to insure your belongings.





INSURANCE

Will my goods be automatically insured?


NO - You are not automatically covered.

Goods stored at RSS are stored at your sole risk; the facility owner is not liable for the loss of any goods stored on its premises. This is stated in the terms of the Standard Self Storage Agreement to be signed prior to move in.

We do offer the ability for you to choose to insure your goods whilst they are stored with RSS.




Do I need to take out storage insurance?


It is highly recommended but not mandatory. We have never had and incidence but cannot guarantee against human error.




How do I apply for insurance?


Simply complete an Insurance Application with your Storage Agreement, pay your first month’s premium and you are covered. Your premium will then be added each month to your storage fees. So long as you make your monthly payments your goods remain insured




How much does storage insurance cost?


Insurance costs $2.50 per $1,000 of goods, per month. e.g. $3,000 cover is $7.50 which is inexpensive for peace of mind.




How much is the excess?


The policy is subject to a minimum excess of $100 per claim up to $50,000.




Who is the insurer?


The insurer is AON and underwritten by QBE.

You complete a simple insurance application and sign that you have accepted to insure your goods on your storage agreement and you are covered.




What does the Insurance Policy Cover?


The policy covers: fire, lightning, impact, explosion, earthquake, aircraft, riots and strikes, malicious damage, storm and tempest and/or water, and burglary which shall mean theft resulting from forcible entry.




How is insurance charged?


Storage insurance is billed monthly in advance together with your monthly rental amount.

How do I access my unit?
